This was recorded in Hatfield Forest, Essex, and is perhaps the most difficult split-tone I've made. I'm not even sure it is that successful as the effect depends on a clear differentiation between highlights and shadow areas - and this is about as mid-tone as they come!
I like the image though, which shows a section of a weathered tree stump, worn smooth by cattle rubbing against it for many years.
For me it epitomises the Japanese concept of wabi-sabi.
