The moa (more like MORE than MOWER), now sadly extinct (although this is a pretty good replica!), was eaten to extinction by the early settlers. Some stood around 2 metres from toe to shoulder, with the head of course quite a bit higher than that when raised - which apparently it wasn't often, based on skeletal evidence.
