This beach hut, rendered curiously
two-dimensional and with insulation oozing from between the board cladding,
was part of a series made in North Norfolk during the 80s and 90s.
The
size here doesn't do it justice. It looks best as a large print
and as such it has been exhibited and sold.
I always thought the shadow
looked like a lunar-landing module, as if it wasn't really a beach hut
at all, but some
visiting craft disguised after landing on this isolated
beach.
